UVSA Midwest Summer Extravaganza

It’s that time of year again! UVSA-MW is proud to announce that the 2011 Summer Extravaganza will be this August 5-7, 2011 at Chain O’Lakes State Park in Spring Grove, Illinois.

Start looking for your sleeping bags and tents because this year will be bigger and better than ever! This year will be three days! That means more food, more fun, and more time for friends!

UNAVSA Leadership Opportunity!

Attending uNAVSA-8 Denver? Looking for a leadership opportunity during the conference? Apply to be a Family Leader!

uNAVSA is currently looking for 15-20 FABULOUS INDIVIDUALS to make conference fun for other attendees and build a weekend “family” experience!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)     Lead a group of 15-20 conference attendees in icebreakers, activities and the Explore Denver scavenger hunt
2)     Contact your conference attendees prior to the conference – get them excited and energized for conference and to be in your family
a.       You will receive your list of family members (names and email addresses)
b.       There will be approximately 15 families
3)     Serve as a contact person for attendees to ask questions and share concerns with
4)     Represent the UNAVSA organization and therefore, set a good example for your family (must be punctual to all family commitments)
5)     Be excitedenergetic and fun! Facilitate interactions between family members!
6)     Your mission is to create a sense of “family” amongst your group members and make the conference a memorable experience!
