The Vietnamese Interacting As One (VIA-1) Conference is an annual event bringing young Vietnamese leaders from all over the country together. During the conference, hundreds of students and young professionals hone their leadership skills, hold discussions with speakers, and explore issues in the Vietnamese-American youth community.
If you've had the chance to attend our past conferences, you would know how much of a fun and precious memory VIA-1 is for many of our beloved members. We want to encourage everyone to apply to be a Committee Director (application closing today!!) or a staff member (application coming up soon 💖) to understand how the planning process works for the conference!

Since 2004, the Union of North American Vietnamese Student Associations (UNAVSA) has organized annual conferences that unites and develops young, emerging leaders within the North American Vietnamese communities.
This year’s 18th Annual UNAVSA conference will be hosted in Houston, Texas on July 13th – 16th, 2023! The conference experience includes keynotes, workshops, and entertainment that centers around education, empowerment, and community.
Did you know that we have more than 30 members from the Midwest attending the annual conference?! There's no doubt this will be a super memorable event for all attendees!

The project is an annual project planned and executed by the Council of State Representatives (CoSR). The project itself is informed by the needs and wants of the local states, making it a unique experience every year!
This project is currently being planned and is expected to take place on Labor Day weekend (September 2nd - 3rd), so we will see you all there in a few months 😎

As a group of individuals dedicated to fostering connections, the Community Engagement Committee believes that a strong and vibrant community is built on active engagement, collaboration, and inclusivity. They bring events that create a sense of belonging, strengthen social bonds, and promote positive change that will have a lasting impact on the well-being and growth of our community.

The Sponsorship Committee serves as a bridge, connecting businesses, brands, and individuals with sponsorship opportunities that align with their goals and values. They work to maintain meaningful connections with sponsors, ensuring their needs are met, and their objectives are aligned with UVSA-Midwest's through many of our projects.
Last but definitely not least, the Technology Committee manages the technological infrastructure of our organization, with a primary focus on website development, app creation, and data analytics. They will work to build a website and mobile app that will provide you with a smooth user experience, including super helpful tools to use during our signature events 🔥
