MESA

Rackham Graduate School

Over 8,300 students are enrolled in Rackham degree programs taught and advised by faculty in graduate programs situated within 18 of the 19 schools and colleges across the Ann Arbor campus. Another 7,000 students are enrolled in graduate and professional degree programs administered separately by individual schools and colleges at U-M.

SAMI Grant

Student Academic Multicultural Initiatives (SAMI) provides funding for individual students and student organizations that promote projects or events designed to increase self-development and educate the campus community on multicultural issues through an academic lens. We define multiculturalism as groups organized based on cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, gender, social class, sexual orientation, age, and ability differences. Consistent with OAMI’s goals, the SAMI Committee encourages and considers student proposals for projects and activities that educate the campus community on these issues.
International Center

The International Center offers a grant opportunity to help student organizations and University departments recognize the diversity of the international student population through special events and programming. We fund creative programming that will elevate the voices of the international student population at the University of Michigan, provide programming to support international students, and hold events of particular interest to the international student population, at large or subsets of it (cultural, vocational, etc).
