What is the difference between Pre-Registration and Registration?

Pre-registration allows attendees/alumni to fill out any preliminary questions for conference planning and sorting. By completing pre-registration, you'll receive a unique code to use to purchase your registration ticket. This helps ensure you can secure your spot faster when registration opens.
Registration is purchasing your ticket using the code provided after pre-registration to officially secure your spot at the conference.

 

How do I know my registration is complete?

You will receive a payment confirmation email immediately after your transaction. If you did not receive the email within 10 minutes, please contact via1.web@uvsamidwest.org.

 

Is there a deadline for pre-registration?

Yes, there is a deadline. Pre-registration is open from Tuesday, November 12 to Sunday, December 15, 2024, by 11:59 PM CT. You are required to pre-register before you can register or join the waitlist.

 

Can I register multiple people at once (group registration)?

No, you cannot register multiple people at the same time. Every attendee will have to pre-register and register independently.

 

What forms of payment are accepted?

VISA, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay

What are the registration prices?

Early: $125
Regular: $135
Alumni: $130
FOMW: $130
Please apply your unique code at checkout as a discount coupon. Failure to apply your unique code will result in an additional $1000 charge beyond the listed price.

 

What’s included in the registration fee?

The registration fee includes access to conference programming, a conference T-shirt, and Saturday meals (lunch and dinner).
This does not include hotel accommodations. There will be a separate email regarding hotel registration.

 

Can I transfer my spot to someone else if I can’t attend?

No, you cannot. If a registrant decides to forfeit their spot, the ticket will be transferred to the next person on the waitlist, who will be charged the regular registration fee. If a registrant decides to forfeit their spot after the refund deadline, they will not be entitled to a refund. All Refund requests must be emailed to via1.fin@uvsamidwest.org with “22nd VIA-1 Conference Refund” in the subject line by 11:59 PM CT on December 21, 2024.

Is there a waitlist if the conference reaches capacity?

Yes, once registration is sold out, the waitlist will be open until December 18, 2024, at 11:59 PM CT
